An Environmental Management Plan (EMP) is an important environmental management tool used during the planning, construction and operational phases of a project. It provides the practical information to ensure that any avoidable adverse environmental effects are minimized, and that the positive aspects of the projects are enhanced at all stages of project planning, development and operation.

EFA possesses extensive experience in the production of Environmental Management Plans for a wide range of projects. These have included the development of plans within a host of African countries including abalone ranching and mariculture development in South Africa; marine dredging in Namibia; and conservation planning in Malawi.

Global Review of Aquaculture Hardware (FAO - Investment Assessment Programme)
EFA has been awarded the contract to undertake a global review of the status of aquaculture infrastructure across 93 developing countries.
